The Texas Department of Transportation (USA) carried out an unusual cleanup operation on a highway.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, an 18-wheeler overturned after the driver lost control. The driver and a passenger were taken to the hospital with minor injuries, meaning their lives were not at risk—but the cargo caused quite a stir.

The truck had been transporting 8 million freshly minted dimes, which spilled across the road. It’s easy to calculate that $800,000 worth of coins ended up scattered on the pavement.

The highway was shut down for several hours as transportation crews worked to clear the loose change. Hopefully, none of the coins went missing.
